As a Lead R&D Engineer at PNDC, Priya’s key role is to develop and deliver a portfolio of technical research and innovation projects in whole energy system, with particular emphasis on experimental validation and testing. Her research focusses on the integration of heat and transport into the electricity vector and the role of hydrogen in the transition to net-zero. She has more than a decade of professional experience in the energy transition interweaving technology, regulation and policy paradigms. She has an undergraduate in electrical and electronics engineering, masters in energy systems, and a doctoral degree in electrical engineering. She has worked both in industry and academia enabling her to seamlessly bridge the expectations of partners and stakeholders in collaborations.
She is the delivery lead from PNDC for the Translating Hydrogen into Action project. Her key activities within this project are engagement with SMEs and identification of gaps in innovation.
