Michael is a research and development engineer in power electronics, machines and drives at the PNDC. He obtained his PhD in electrical engineering with a focus on technologies for electric vehicle chargers. His research interests are broadly in transportation electrification, with an emphasis on high performance estimation and control of power electronic converters and motor drive systems.
Michael’s key activities with the Translating Hydrogen into Action project are SME engagement and hydrogen electrolyser system modelling dynamic modelling and control.
