Maarten is a chemical engineer (M.Sc.) with a doctorate in solid state chemistry. He has 10 years of experience in various academic research roles, relating to process engineering, materials science, electrochemistry and ceramics processing. Maarten joined the Hydrogen Accelerator team in 2020 as systems engineer and has been supporting SMEs through various projects, for instance by carrying out techno-economic assessments, technical reviews and developing total-cost-of-ownership models.
